In Miudezas Poéticas (Poetic Odds and Ends)I draw upon fragments of the embroidery that compose the images of the work Troca (Swap), reinterpreting them to create a new artistic project that highlights intricacies and poetry.

The project contains ten original poems, each one inspired by the words: balance, resistance, female, acceptance, persistence, therapeutic, swap, slow down, handmade, and freedom. 

In addition to the poems, the project includes photographs of the details—image fragments that do not explain but rather suggest. These are images of holes, threads, and pieces of embroidery. After all, everything that leads to nothing can be used for poetry, as the poet Manoel de Barros once wrote. 

Everything is presented inside a small box, an object that, for me, represents a vessel of treasures and emotional memories. I treat these small things as singularities and invite the viewer into a sensorial experience: to open (or not) the box, to touch (or not) the photos, to read (or not) the poems. Since there is no predetermined order in the presentation of the poems and photographs, the viewer is free to choose what to see, in what order, and how to see it.

Miudezas Poéticas (Poetic Odds and Ends) embraces what is small. Here, the detail becomes the protagonist, and poetry unfolds between the lines.
