The starting point of this work was the sentence \u201cI am writing to fill my waiting\u201d, taken from the novel Correio Noturno<\/em> by writer Hoda Barak (1), and a small photograph adopted from the Archive of Ordinary Stories Collections (ACHO). It is an old photo: a woman, with one hand resting on a railing. Her pose evokes waiting, perhaps the waiting for the very realization of the photograph.<\/p><\/div>

From these references, I carry out various forms of writing as an exercise in reflecting on the fragmentation of time. A time without rhythm, dispersing experiences. A time without permanence and without duration in the present. Writing emerges through small gestures that come from the body \u2013 the body that recognizes itself in slow and repetitive movements. Repetition soothes, brings us into the present, and in that state, we are whole.<\/p><\/div>

The gesture of writing. The gesture of sewing. The gesture of embroidering. The gesture of unravelling. The gesture of searching. The gesture of pasting. The gesture of painting. The gesture of hurting (the paper). The gesture of piercing. The gesture fitting in. The gesture of rolling. The gesture of cutting. The gesture of photographing. The gesture of repeating.\u00a0<\/p>
